Ms. Martin graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington, with an Arts Baccalaureate in Economics. She received her Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy, from Wright State University, Dayton.

Diana was admitted to practice as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by the State of Ohio, and was awarded the Certificate in Management Accounting (CMA) by the Institute of Management Accountants.

Ms. Martin started her career in public accounting. Her practice focus included non-profit, construction, government contracts and health care industries.

Ms. Martin joined People Working Cooperatively, Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio, as Associate Executive Director. She managed the business operations of a $5 million federally funded construction industry non-profit organization and provided leadership during transition, working with the Board to set strategic direction.

Diana joined the Ohio Department of Transportation, (ODOT), Lebanon, Ohio, as the Transportation Planning and Programs Administrator.  As Planning Administrator, Ms. Martin defined core business processes and directed a $60 million capital program fund, one of the largest in the state of Ohio, for maintenance and construction of the district’s transportation system. She created a capital program development process, and introduced a project management approach to program delivery. She established interdisciplinary teams of planners, environmental scientists, and traffic and design engineers responsible for multi-county transportation system customer service. She also established performance measures to validate accomplishment of critical success factors, and integrated preliminary engineering functions into the planning process to support environmental review.

Ms. Martin has been active in regional planning, participating in the North South Transportation Initiative, the Eastern Corridor Project, and most recently, the Brent Spence Bridge preliminary engineering study as ODOT’s representative. She facilitated ODOT’s relationship with local public agencies, Metropolitan Planning Organizations and Regional Transportation Improvement Districts.

Diana has extensive experience interpreting federal code and regulations including IRS, OSHA, DOD, HUD and FHWA. She is a subject matter expert in interest based solution methodology, and is able to interpret technical concepts for non-technical audiences. She has extensive volunteer involvement with community and charitable organizations, and has demonstrated the ability to apply management concepts in a practical setting.

She lives with her husband, two teenage daughters, and two Italian Greyhounds in Clermont County, Ohio. She uses her commute time to practice foreign language CD’s and enjoys daily exercise and international travel.
